Description du poste / stage The Airbus Chief Technology Office (CTO) is looking for a Research Engineer - Modeling & Simulation to join our Advanced Numerical Methods department in Issy-Les-Moulineaux, France.With your creative and analytic mind, you will use your unique expertise to:Increase the capabilities in Modeling & Simulation for complex systems which require models from physics.Develop state of the art capabilities to meet final user expectations (in EMC, Antenna, Stealth, Acoustics, vibroacoustics, electrodynamics domains at short term) taking advantage of legacy means (e.g. aseris suite, HPC means). Tâches et missions principales, responsabilités The principle responsibilities of the role can be summarized as follows:Ensure the technical coordination of the Aseris Project within the current partnership (differentiating activities, affordability, lead time, cost of ownership, risk analysis & back-ups).Build a link with other domains and propose new approaches (including HPC capabilities).Lead the activity of MultiDisciplinary Optimisation and Model Reduction under Uncertainties (Application New Electrical wiring).Goal oriented frameworks (legacy of IRT SystemX in Paris-Saclay).Develop coupling technics (user point of view and math solving).Anticipation of valuable needs of BUs and identify added value to be host within CRT projects.Keep subproject(s) aligned with the Modeling Roadmap (under construction): coherent positioning & priorities.Regular steering committees to organize to manage the huge legacy of Aseris (including high level former commitments). Compétences requises Your Boarding Pass‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾‾Background in Applied Mathematics / Computer Science / System Engineering with working experience in a Research Development environment.Proven experience in Modeling and Simulation of Complex Systems.Proven experience in Numerical Analysis.Knowledge in Wave Modeling would be appreciated.Good knowledge in programming language (C, C++, Fortran, Python).Knowledge in high performance computing would be a plus.Ability to develop a strong network in the academic world.Negotiation level in French and English.
