Description du poste / stage A vacancy for a Solution Manager Hybrid Networks (m/f) has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Elancourt (Paris area). As the successful candidate you will join the TCSG department, within Secure Communications.The scope of the activity is to develop a solution portfolio, which fits the market needs in the non-governmental (Critical Infrastructure and Large Corporate) market segments within the selected vertical industries.You will be responsible for the lifecycle management of the solution portfolio for these markets with the end to end monitoring of the realization of the corresponding business case.You will have to drive the activity forward bringing a blend of business and technical understanding along with a big-picture vision. The mission includes also the close interaction with customers, product development, product managements and sales organisations to ensure best market fit of our offerings.Airbus Defence and Space (ADS), Secure Communications is an industry-leading global player in Mission & Business Critical Secure Communications. The Hybrid Networks (HN) strategic initiative will enable the Secure Communications organization to provide innovative and secure Hybrid Network Solutions and Services for Defence, Public Safety, Critical Infrastructure and High End Corporate customers. Our vision is that ADS Secure Communication is the trusted partner and provider in the Hybrid Network space due to its portfolio of solution and services, its expertise, and its unique knowledge of customer needs in secure telecommunications business. Tâches et missions principales, responsabilités Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:Strategic Solution Design and Business CaseIn close cooperation with the sales, business development and program delivery organisations, identify the market size, the market needs, the key success factors or differentiator that will allow our solution to be successful.In conjunction with engineering organisations, define innovative relevant target solutions.Building the Solution: RoadmapIn close cooperation with the engineering and program delivery teams, assess our capability gaps and identify the requirements needed for our future management solutions, aligning the roadmap to R&T activities where possible.Work with engineering development functions to gain commitment on scope, cost, and schedule for the development of our solutions.Solution Management and EvolutionManage and control the solution development process.Work with the portfolio pricing function to set up standard configuration templates for the solutions.Contribute to intellectual property, export controls, licensing and royalty modelling activities.Create a Go to Market Plan.Solution Communication, Education and MarketingProvide solution material to promote sales as part of the overall portfolio capabilityStakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersProvide regular written progress updates to stakeholdersThis role will involve frequent travel for business in Europe and worldwide and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. Compétences requises You will have the following skills and experience:Educated to an IT or Telecommunication engineering degree or Business Management or equivalent.Strong experience with Telcos and different vertical industries with typically high security requirements.Good understanding of commercial aspects, risk management and cost controlling.Strong customer facing experience.Good understanding of technology, IT, engineering processes and multi-project management.A proactive, resilient, can-do attitudeStrong interpersonal and communication skills in a multicultural environment.Negotiation skills of English and German or French. Other language skills would be an asset.
