Tâches et missions principales, responsabilités Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:We are looking for an experienced Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Stress Engineer, who will be based on the Saint-Martin site in Toulouse, to join the rapidly expanding team of ESXSA (Structures Engineering - Specific Design of Nose, Forward Fuselage & Centre Wing Box, and Doors & Mechanisms).The team manages all Series and Development activities, working closely with the Plants, Programmes, and Customer Services to develop our Engineering solutions. You will join the Stress community, working directly for the Head of Stress – F&DT. Your activities will range from daily support to Major Modifications to Development activities, not to forget our Agile Sprint projects. The type of work will be linked to your capability and development path and balanced with customer needs.You should be prepared to try new ways of working, reinforcing our core values of Team work, Customer Focus, Reliability, Respect, and Creativity. You will be part of the empowerment venture, where the goal is really to take decisions directly at the point of expertise through a framework of self-controlled delegation (i.e. with a managed handover).As a successful candidate you will work on the Fatigue and Damage Tolerance analysis of all structures and mechanisms in the nose and forward fuselage, whilst supporting system installation requests. You will work on the calculation, justification, and certification of these solutions, whilst contributing to the Structures Evolution Plan and Single Aisle Quality Improvement as part of your development.This is a truly exciting opportunity to join a Structures Engineering team on our most exciting Aircraft Family.This role will involve some travel for business to plants, FALs, and suppliers when necessary and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. Compétences requises We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:Educated to a Bachelor’s degree level (or equivalent).At least 5 years of experience in Structural Engineering Experience in Fatigue & Damage Tolerance.High level of communication and Team work.Knowledge of Airbus Calculation methods and tools,Knowledge of Airbus Design milestones and gates,Knowledge of the calculation tools of the Single Aisle family would be a plus.Previous experience in a transnational environment.Negotiation level in English.
