11.2007 - now Software desinger, Norway Ericsson Inc.
From 11.2007 to 1.2008, i was responsible for Taiwan Ericsson and the major task was service deliever in IOT center to help customer test their mobilephone communication capability.
After two month, i found out i prefer to do the programming job, so i changeg department to EMP department in Norwary Ericsson and i am responsible for base porting which is link to my previous job in 2003, base porting Symbian OS under TI's chip.

04.2005 - 02.2006 Fireware Engineer, Avocent Inc.
I was responsible for unify BMC team in IBM Department to develop new features of the IPMI (Intelligent Platform Management Interface) solution for IBM customers. The term ¿platform management¿ is used to refer to the monitoring and control functions that are built in to the platform hardware and primarily used for the purpose of monitoring the health of the system hardware. This typically includes monitoring elements such as system temperatures, voltages, fans, power supplies, bus errors, system physical security, etc.

08.2003 - 04.2005 Fireware engineer, Quanta Computer Inc
I chose to be a firmware engineer in Smartphone Department in Quanta Computer Inc. because I could implement the knowledge of telecommunication system I had learned in the job. Also, at that moment the company developed the smartphone product on the basis of Symbian OS. The Symbian OS is an open source code, so I can trace the code to find out how they wrote the kernel. I am always interested in the subject of Operation System, so through the coding I can realize how thread is implemented, how to write the code of polling and interrupt and how to avoid starving.

09.2002 - 06.2003 Developing WLAN Techniques for e-Campus, National Chuns Chens University
The goal of this project is to study and develop WLAN related techniques for efficient learning and working on e-Campus. We have already planned to construct wireless communication network, with basic authentication, on several major buildings. In this project, we propose to add up two main services on the network management in the build-up system: the first is to install a billing server to compute the total flow for each individual and the second is to implement bandwidth management to certain conditions

12.2001 - 06.2002 CCU Campus portal site, National Chuns Chens University
Build the environment to support the web-mail system to all teacher and student. On Linux OS, using LDAPAIMAPASendmail servers to build this system

After six years of formal education in Computer Science and three years of related working experience in programming, it was the time to make a career change. Therefore, I went to the U.K to study MBA in order to extend my mindset and improve English capability. The foreign study experience tough me how to critical thinking and challenge the orthodox approaches. In addition, the reason I could study in the U.K because of Rotary Scholarship, so I was responsible to them and made speech to introduce my home country. Because of this, it has enhanced my expression and communication capability, as well as social skill.

The experience both from Computer Science and MBA degree could assist me in doing the job which requires capabilities of analysis and plan in the technology industry.

In graduate school I joined the Professor Sing-Ling Lee¿s LAB to do the research in telecommunication system and WDM system. At that moment, one of school tutor had worked for Bell Lab, so we received solid and thorough training in telecommunication system, including GSM protocol, WCDMA protocol and WLAN protocl. The thorough and focused investigation on these areas not only provided me the full knowledge in these areas, but also taught me how to analysis and research independently.

09.1996 - 06.2001 Computer Science, Taiwan
I majored in Computer Science and received solid training in Algorithms, Architectures, telecommunication technology, Network, OS, and Electronics¿etc. During fundamental courses, I have learned how to use Lex & Yacc to write a Simple C compiler, setup database on Oracle database and employ mysql to write an on-line booking system, as well as use C++ to write a Tetris game. Those courses not only established a solid knowledge base in this domain but also trained me to think logical.
